I was VERY impressed with this budget wheel I bought on Amazon.
It's sleek design and 3 sturdy pipe legs feels very durable. I did not think the foot pedal felt as durable, but my 8 year old son (who doesn't weigh very much) prefers it to our other pedals because it is easy to adjust speeds. I also didn't find the LCD panel helpful. But this wheel DOES fit the Giffin Grip is you think you might be getting into production pottery and at around $200 it's hard to beat the price.
This budget pottery wheel has many look-alikes on Amazon. I think this is because multiple companies are buying the same product from one or a few factories. Then, they brand it with their unique trademark.
This is the second cheapest wheel I've reviewed to date and I think it is the one I would choose IF I thought I might be getting into production - making a LOT of mugs, cups and bowls and therefore having a need to center quickly with a Giffin Grip.
